Watercolors

Art was my way to connect to the source. Once my inner critic grew so much that it almost cut that connection. Metaphysics helped me rebuild and strengthen it. Going to Kaş, I took with me the art materials I feared the most: Watercolors.
Not easy to control, you really need to build with the flow. I was defining myself in music until in 2014 I suddenly felt exhausted and needed a new way where I can create freely. The colors were calling to me for a long time, but I was thinking I had no talent in painting.
I listened to that call anyway, there I found something new; I was leaving my hands to the flow and participating as it was going somewhere I didn’t know from the start and also n
ot during the way, but I was enjoying it so much. This was rewiring my brain which was programmed to be goal oriented. This journey with painting almost stopped where I started to take it more seriously. In Kaş, I used all new art materials, so I had to have the patience to readapt,
make mistakes and still go on with it
and it really worked. I painted where there were other people around, then went on at nights listening to beautiful music and it paid off. I really recaptured the feeling of connectedness to the source through art after longing for it for so long.
